I believe that supervision should be more than just a requirement— it should be a transformative experience that helps you develop your unique style as a counselor. I am passionate about supporting LPC associates as they find their footing and grow into ethical, competent, and confident therapists.
Here are some reasons why you should consider working with me as your LPC Associate supervisor:
The State of Texas requires LPC associates to complete a minimum of 18 months and 3,000 hours of supervised clinical experience to obtain licensure. LPC associates are allowed to have two supervisors, and half of their monthly supervision can be obtained through group supervision. I require my supervisees to attend group supervision, which is held on either Monday at 6:00 PM or Wednesday at 11:00 AM.
I charge a flat monthly fee for supervision, and details regarding payment arrangements will be provided during the onboarding process.
If you are ready to begin your journey with Kenyatta Black Counseling, the first step is to reach out to my Practicum/LPC Associate Coordinator, Danielle. Please email her a copy of your resume and briefly explain your professional goals during your internship.
